Nayantara is too costly now

Selvaragavan's Yaradi Nee Mohini became the first super hit of the summer in Tamil Cinema. After the success of Billa-2007, it is the second in a row for actress Nayantara and the producers automatically hiked her salary to a whopping one crore per film.

At present, she is acting with Ajith in Aegean and with Vishal in Sathyam. Both the films have good talks in the trade circles and now the actress is going to play the lead role against Vijay in Singam directed by Prabhu Deva.

To maintain her numero uno status in Tamil, the actress decided to limit her commitments in Telugu and opts to stay in Chennai for more time. But what really scares her is ex-boy friend Simbu's unwanted visits and interferences. After her unexpected meet with the actor in the recently held hunger strike, it is alleged that Simbu has slowly started his usual games like sending SMS and emissaries to convince her.
