Film Institute student turns composer

Director Sasi, who has earlier given hits like Sollamalae, Roja Kootam and Dishyum, is currently busy shooting his next venture, Poo, which has Srikanth and Malayalam heroine Parvathy in the lead roles. Parvathy has acted in hits like Notebook and Flash in Malayalam.

Sasi, well-known for using different music composers, is introducing a new composer in this film, namely S.S. Kumaran, a graduate from the Adayar Film Institute.

Sasi's films have always had good songs that ended up becoming huge hits. Hence, expectations are great for the music of Poo too. The film has six songs which have all come out very well, according to unit sources.

The film's cinematographer P.G. Muthiah, also a debutant, has graduated in Visual Communication. He has worked under masters like Ravi K. Chandran and Ravi Varman. Poo is being co-produced by Moser Baer along with Sasi's Nesagi Cinemas.
