Priyamani in Mani Ratnam's film

Legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam selects actress Priyamani to play second heroine in his next project. The film, which is to be made simultaneously in Tamil and Hindi, will feature Vikram as hero in Tamil, while Abhishek Bachchan will feature in the Hindi version. Aishwarya Bachchan plays heroine in both the versions.

Prithviraj will be playing the role of villain and Priyamani has been chosen to pair up with him. It may be recalled that in Ayutha Ezhuthu, Mani shows Maddy as a baddy and Meera Jasmine as his wife. Though the roles are in negative shade, Mani's style of character designing won rave reviews from critics.
