Monday
lodged
a
complaint
with
the
Chennai
Commissioner
of
Police
Nanchil
Kumaran
against
Cine
Technician
Association
seeking
action
against
them
for
their
violent
attack
on
her
Serial
crew.
In
her
complaint,
she
told
that
on
Sunday,
when
the
shooting
for
two
serials
-
Arasi
and
Lakshmi
were
going
on
in
a
private
hospital
at
T
Nagar,
around
50
members
of
the
Lightmen
and
Cine
Technician
Association
entered
the
shooting
spot
and
attacked
artistes
–
crew
and
damaged
shooting
equipment
worth
of
few
lakhs.
The
shooting
was
then
cancelled
owing
to
the
fear
of
the
artists
getting
beaten
up.
Over
20
of
the
artists
were
hospitalised.
The
members
of
the
Cine
Technician
Association
were
demanding
salary
on
par
with
the
people
at
Cinema
Industry.
As
the
chief
of
the
Tamil
Small
Screen
Producers
Association,
Radhika
had
assured
to
look
into
their
demand,
a
few
days
before.
The
Chennai
Metro
City
police
registered
a
case
on
this
and
searching
for
the
alleged
persons.
According
to
the
police,
similar
protest
was
conducted
by
the
Cine
Technician
Association
today
at
the
shooting
spot
of
Simran
Thirai
being
produced
by
Pyramid
Saimira.
