BJP urges Rajini to plunge into Politics!

Keeping the forthcoming Lok Sabha polls in mind the BJP on Tuesday said that the superstar should plunge into politics like Telugu star Chiranjeevi as he enjoys goodwill of the people in the state.

S.Thirunavukkarasar, MP and National Secretary of BJP says, "It is the appropriate time for Rajnikanth to start his party since he had already earned the goodwill of the people of Tamil Nadu. If he starts a political party like Chiranjeevi in Andhra Pradesh, we will definitely welcome it."

Reacting to a question on a new party Desiya Dravida Makkal Munnetra Kazhagam (DDMMK) floated by a section of Rajini's hard core fans in Coimbatore, the former union minister says, "Rajini shouldn't delay in announcing his political stand at this point."

However, he said it is up to the actor to decide when to start his own party.

When asked whether BJP would go for an alliance if the actor starts his new party, Thirunavukkarasar said "whether he launches a new party or joins our party, we will welcome it".

He further said, "Like other actors in the state, he (Rajnikanth) can also serve the people through politics", he said.
