Once
again
Superstar
Rajini
has
proved
his
supremacy
in
the
South
Indian
entertainment
Industry
.
According
to
the
latest
reports,
even
brand
new
releases
could
not
stand
in
front
of
his
old
hits
like
Chandramukhi!
In
a
recently
released
TRP
report
for
Deepavali
day,
Rajinikanth's
Chandramukhi
was
found
to
be
the
solo
winner
and
had
even
overtaken
all
the
new
Deepavali
releases
in
the
Tamil
entertainment
industry.
Rajini's
Chandramukhi
that
was
telecast
on
Sun
TV
on
Deepavali
day
had
got
a
whopping
20.82
points
in
the
TRP.
On
the
same
day
Kalaignar
TV
which
had
telecast
the
brand
new
film
Billa
starring
Ajith
(also
a
remake
of
Rajini's
yesteryear
blockbuster
Billa)
could
get
just
4
points
in
the
ratings.
Remember,
the
fireworks
demonstration
by
his
fans
all
over
Tamil
Nadu
when
the
superstar's
name
appeared
on
the
small
screens,
some
thing
which
is
similar
to
theatre
celebrations.
As
per
the
ratings
on
Deepavali
day,
Kamal
Hassan
classic
Vettayadu
Vilayadu,
a
re-telecast
on
Sun
TV
in
the
11am
slot
had
got
a
TRP
rating
of
11.29
and
was
at
number
two.
Meanwhile
at
the
same
time
on
Kalaignar
TV,
Arjun's
Marudhamalai
got
an
impressive
7.74,
and
came
in
the
third
position.
It
clearly
proves
that
similar
to
the
silver
screen,
nobody
can
overtake
Rajinikanth
in
the
small
screen
too.
After
Chandramukhi's
outstanding
ratings
on
television,
Rajini
has
once
again
proved
that
he
is
the
undisputed
emperor
of
South
Indian
show
business!
