Shivaji celebrates Silver Jubilee on 11th!

Finally, AVM has announced the date of the film's Silver Jubilee celebrations. To add more colour to the colourful Pongal festival, the legendary filmmakers will conduct the event in grand gala style on 11th January 2008, Friday.

The function will be held at Madras University Centenary Hall at Chepauk. Dr M Karunanidhi, the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu will preside the function and of course the boss of masses Rajini will be the center of attraction, as the speculations are high on his next flick with the same unit.

The function will enthrall the audience with a 45 minutes short film on the making of Shivaji. The edited scenes of the movie are expected to be screened on the occasion. The technicians, who worked in the film, will be awarded with shields.

The team of Shivaji and the production house has jointly planned to honor all the theatre owners who have screened Shivaji. The felicitation will take place on the same day 11am at Superstar Rajini's own Marriage Hall, one of the land marks of Chennai, Sri Ragavendra Kalyana Mandapam. Media and entire film fraternity are expecting both director Shankar and Rajini to announce their next project in the same stage!
