IIFA to honour AR Rehman

The music Mozart of Madras, AR Rehman will be presented with a life time achievement award by International Indian Film Academy (IIFA). The academy has announced this yesterday and the same would be presented to the composer on June 6th at a grand function to be held at Thailand's capital Bangkok.

In its press release, IIFA organizers told that the award is being presented to Rehman for his contribution to Indian film music and globalised the same within a short period. Amitabh Bachchan, one of the organizers of IIFA, will present the award to Rehman in the function. Shahrukh Khan and Aishwarya Bachchan are the other special guests invited for the event.
