Rehman releases audio of Raja

Once again, the Mozart of Madras AR Rehman proved himself as one of the rare gentlemen of the industry. He turned up at the audio launch of Saroja, which has musical score by Yuvan Shankar Raja, and heaped laurels on his contemporary. The much hyped event was held at Chennai Trade Center on Monday evening and the entire film world except the Superstars Rajini and Kamal attended the event with zeal.

An exclusive soundtrack from Yuvan Shankar Raja in English was screened and the same has won thundering applause from the audience side. It was followed by a couple of peppy numbers, which were also well appreciated by the crowd. The first CD of the film's music has released by AR Rehman and later he distributed the CDs to the VIPs, who shared the dais.

Speaking on the occasion, Rehman said, "I am a great fan of Yuvan and I know him for the past two decades from the time I worked with Illayaraja some 23 years back as a key board player. Coming from the family of legends, he has established a place for himself with his own style without following any one"

Veteran director Barathiraja, directors Ameer, Dharani, actors Jayaram, Sundar C, Vishal, Jayam Ravi, Prasanna, actresses Sneha, Trisha, Kushboo, Sona, Nikitha and veteran singer S.P. Balasubramanyam were graced the occasion.
