Rajini in Robot

'Its official, Shankar will work with Rajini in his dream project Robot soon!' - is the news appeared in an online news portal yesterday and the same has surprised most of the newsmen and industry people.

According to the news published in that portal, this 100 (Rs.1 billion) crores budget film will be produced by none other than the corporate giant Reliance. It also says that Shankar has held discussions with the Mumbai production house, which has shown a keen interest in the film with Rajinikanth, the highest-paid actor in the continent.

But none could ready to confirm or decline this news. When this correspondent enquired this with Shankar's PRO, he laughed initially and surprised with the details published. He told that there was no such proposal till now with the director. The Chennai branch of Adlabs, the entertainment wing of Reliance also refused to comment anything on this.

Rajini is the 4th mega star linked with this mega project of Shankar. Initially, Kamal Hassan signed for this film but soon he withdrawn from the same. Then Shahrukh Khan entered, but after completing a long discussion with the director, he has also withdrawn. Few weeks before, Ajith told that he has discussed with Shankar to do the film Robot. Now this project came to Rajini's court!
