Simbu's efforts to attract Nayan

Simbu came to the unnaviradham stage in the noon and 'occupied' a seat near his 'erstwhile girl friend' Nayantara. Though he tried a lot to win the attention of Nayan, the numero uno actress of South did not even turn her face towards the actor and kept herself busy with talking to other stars.

She was posing with the Superstar Rajinikanth for most of the time and later joined her friend Trisha. Later Simbu registered his strong condemnations to the violent activities of Pro Kannada activists against Tamils in Karnataka.
