Sundar to remake MGR's classic movie

Sundar C, the director turned successful hero, is reportedly playing in the remake of yesteryear legendary Superstar MGR's master piece Ulagam Sutrum Vaaliban. Instead of handing over the project to someone to direct, Sundar himself is keen on directing the movie and play in dual roles which was done by Makkal Thilagam MGR in the original.

Like in the original, Sundar has also planned to sign with 4 leading heroines and the same title will be used for the new version also, as revealed by Sundar. Is it possible to recreate the magic of MGR again?

"Surely it would be an impossible task for anyone to recreate the same magic done by our all time legend of Tamil Cinema. The original always shines like a rare gem and copying the same will never shine for long. Ulagam Sutrum Vaaliban is a text book or handy lesson to every filmmaker in the Industry, which helps everyone to know how to make a film with all mass masala ingredients in right proportion." – one of MGRs ardent fan cum actor-director Pandyarajan says.
