Katha
Parayumbol
will
hit
the
screens
on
July
last
week.
Produced
jointly
by
Seven
Arts
(the
distributors
of
Katha
Parayumbol)
and
Kavithalaya
in
Tamil
and
Seven
Arts
–
Vyjayanthi
Movies
in
Telugu,
the
shooting
of
this
bilingual
is
almost
nearing
its
end.
The
climax
portions
have
been
shot
in
Pollachi,
Udumalai
and
surrounding
areas
for
the
past
3
days
and
the
people
of
Coimbatore
district
have
turned
at
large
to
have
a
'Dharshan
of
Rajini'
at
the
shooting
spot.
Rajini
showed
immense
pleasure
to
see
the
crowd
and
even
spent
some
time
with
them
and
some
of
the
diehard
fans
of
the
actor
requested
him
to
permit
to
take
photographs
with
him.
More
than
a
hundred
photographs
were
taken
on
the
spot
and
Rajini
himself
enthusiastically
gave
postures
to
the
still
photographers
along
with
his
fans
and
fan
club
functionaries.
According
to
the
producers,
the
film
will
hit
the
screens
worldwide
simultaneously
with
nearly
900
plus
prints.
They
have
planned
to
release
700
plus
prints
in
Tamil
Nadu
and
Andhra
only.
In
the
remaining
900
prints
are
allotted
for
Kerala.
The
balance
will
be
sent
to
overseas
distributors.
The
Tamil
and
Telugu
rights
of
the
movie
have
been
procured
by
Pyramid
Saimira
for
Rs
64
crores.
As
the
production
cost
of
the
movie
will
come
to
just
around
10
crores
excluding
Rajini's
salary,
the
movie
will
prove
to
be
a
profit
to
its
producers
even
before
its
theatrical
release.
Rajini
will
play
the
role
of
superstar
in
this
film
and
Nayantara
plays
his
lady
love.
Meena,
Vadivelu
and
Pasupathy
are
also
in
the
cast.
The
shooting
of
Rajini's
portions
in
Kuselan
will
be
concluded
by
the
end
of
this
week.
