    Ban on Tamil Films lifted in Kerala

    The ban on simultaneous release of Tamil films in Kerala has been lifted by film distributors association of Kerala today. The Tamil Producer's Council has taken some serious efforts to sort out this issue smoothly with the Kerala film industry.

    According to the new terms, all the Tamil films will be released simultaneously in Kerala from January 2008 with maximum number of prints. Now Vikram's Bheema and Madhavan's Vazhthukal will be released this Pongal simultaneously with Tamil Nadu. And for the first time theaters in Kerala are willing to pay MG for Tamil big budget films.
