Trisha joins Danush for Jab We Met remake

Bollywood hit Jab We Met starring Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor will be remade in Tamil. The buzz is that Danush and Trisha will be pair in the film for the first time in their career. Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd, the distributors of the film has announced that Jab We Met will be remade in four South Indian languages Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam by the corporate entity Moser Baer.

The company had already approached many heroes like Karthi, Madhavan and Vinay for the lead role before zeroing it on Danush. When Trisha was offered the female lead, she accepted it without any hesitation. Other cast and crew will be announced soon. The producers are also holding talks with some leading directors to call shots in the movie.
