Vasantha Balan to direct an English film

Veyil fame director Vasantha Balan is going to direct an English film soon after he completes his ongoing film Angadi Theru, Produced by Sundeep Singh, the producer of critically acclaimed Bandit Queen (1994), the new project is titled as Rough India. The director has visited Mumbai and held discussions on the script and other formalities.

The producer announced that the cast and crew will be announced soon after Vasantha Balan gets into this new venture.Vasantha Balan said, "My sincere work in Veyil has won this rare opportunity for me. It is really a big project and I hope that hereafter everything would end to my favour."

Vasantha Balan's ongoing project Angadi Theru shooting is almost nearing its completion and the film is slated to release in the first week of September all over the world.
