Meera-Vijaykanth duo in Mariyadhai

Vijayakanth, the actor turned politician wants to recreate the magic of his yesteryear blockbuster Vaanathapola again in Tamil. So once again he teams up with Vikraman, the director known for his family oriented blockbusters like Pudhu Vasantham, Unnidathil Ennai Koduthen and Surya Vamsam.

After completing Engal Aasan, Vijayakanth will join hands with director Vikraman again. With Meera Jasmine playing the female lead, Vikraman has chosen to title the film Mariyadhai. Though Vikraman has given several hits in his 20 year old career, his last venture Chennai Kadhal did not do very well at the box office. Vikraman had changed his approach in the film to give an action oriented treatment to his script. After having realized his mistake, he decided to return his own style.

Now Vikraman has completed his script work for a new family subject and the same was narrated to the captain a few days before.

Impressed with the work of Vikraman, the actor has given his dates immediately and announced the same in a press meet. The launch date will be announced soon.
