Vijay opts for a Hindi remake

It seems that Ilayathalapathy Vijay opts for a remake again due to the negative verdict from the people for his recently released movie Kuruvi. According to the sources, his next Prabhu Deva directed untitled film for Ayangaran is going to be a remake of a Bollywood film Soldier.

Normally, he opts for Telugu mass masalas to make his movies in Tamil. Soldier is the superhit Hindi movie directed by Abbas Mastan and starred by Bobby Deol and Preeti Zinda in 1998. It is an all out action film that was shot in Australia and New Zealand, and tells the story of a son's mission to seek revenge on his father an army officer killed by enemy forces and traitors.

The new Vijay film is going to have music by Devisri Prasad, Dasavatharam cameraman Ravi Varman will be the cinematographer and it is likely to be shot in Austria, Italy and Switzerland. Nayantara will play the role done by Preity Zinta and Biju Menon will be the main villain as said in the official note of the company.
