Dhanush's dream project, Aadukalam

After three consecutive hits, Dhanush is to start his next project with his favourute director Vetrimaaran. Titled as Aadukalam, the entire shooting of the film is going to take place in Madurai, Tamil Nadu for the next 6 months.

Aadukalam has Trisha playing the female lead and Oscar hero A.R. Rahman's nephew GV Prakash tuning the songs. According to Dhanush, Vetrimaaran has spent almost a year on the screen play and dialogue has the typical Madurai slang.

"Aadukalam is very special to me and I would say that it is my dream project. I have always admired the directorial sense of Vetri and he has an innovative style of film making and has always attempted to explore something new...," says Dhanush.

Noted Sri Lankan Tamil writer and political observer V. I. S. Jayabalan is making his screen debut through this film.
