Surya stands tall without a title

Newcomers in Kollywood are known to title their names with titles like as 'Chinna Thalapathy, 'Puratchi Thalapathy" et al. But actor Surya does not seem to believe in this theory and has not added a title yet to his name.

Recently, in a press conference, one of the journalists raised this question to Surya who said, “Of course, my fans have been requesting me to go for such title. But, I feel that it will not work out as I"ve already rechristened my name from Saravanan to Surya. I am happy with this name".
