Meena finally hears the wedding bells in her life

Actress Meena is engaged to Vidyasagar, a software engineer from Bangalore at a private function at her residence in Chennai.

Only her close relatives and very few family friends took part in the engagement. The wedding will be held on July 12 at Tirupati and a grand reception is also planned for the couple on July 14th at Chennai.

Starting as a child artist in Sivaji Ganesan's Nenjangal, Meena has done more than 175 films in all south Indian films and has acted opposite all superstars in the region.

She has done three films as heroine to Rajinikanth and among those, Yejaman catapulted her as the number one heroine in Tamil cinema. Her recent appearance with Rajini in Kuselan and Vijaikanth in Mariyadhai has kept her in the limelight even after 20 years.

She has also done couple of television serials namely Lakshmi and Kalyanam.
