Actress Sridevi is engaged to Rahul

Popular actress Sridevi got engaged to Rahul on March 15 at a star-studded ceremony at her residence. While Sridevi is the daughter of the star couple Vijayakumar and Manjula, Rahul hails from Hyderabad and owns a software company there as well.

The engagement was solemnized in a conventional way at 7:15pm with both Sridevi and Rahul exchanging rings. The wedding has been fixed for June 18th in Chennai. The ceremony was gala affair with the esteemed presence of many celebrities from the Tamil film industry. Among those present were Khushboo, Radhika, Sundar C, Prabhu, Lakshmi, Sangeetha, K.S. Ravikumar, Meena, Parthiban, Sarath Kumar, Sangavi and many others.

Sridevi, a promising actress has decided to be the perfect homemaker by clearly stating, “I don"t want to become a star again which might interrupt my life. I wish to be at home mostly as I love being in the scenario. I want to look after my family first."
