Ajith, first to grab director Suraj

It seems that actor Ajith is interested in working with the masala specialist director Suraj. According to the box office, the director's latest release Padikkathavan is the only hit (though it has been strongly criticized...!) among the Pongal releases.

So, the director is getting more invitations from the big actors' club. The first one who has invited Suraj for discussions is Ajith.

It is reported that Ajith and Suraj discussed a story recently. Though the actor hasn't given the final nod, it is said that the duo are finalizing the script. Other actors who have invited Suraaj are Jayam Ravi and Arya.

Ajith's next flick Asal will be launched in March. The film is by director Saran and Sameera Reddy appears as his lead lady.
