Ajmal to do only solo hero roles

Ajmal, whose TN 07 AL 4777 is ready for release, is now taking up only solo-hero roles. The latest we hear is that the Anjathey actor is doing a film titled Kathirvel with Sunaina (of Kadhalil Vizhundhen fame).

Venkat, who had worked as an assistant to Saran, is making his debut as director with this film, which is being produced by Papillon Communications.

The movie is about a young man who migrates from his village to Chennai and falls in love with a Brahmin girl. Kathirvel, which has music composed by debutant Sajan Madhav, also stars Ponvannan, Kanja Karuppu and VMC Haneefa.
