Yogi to bring the slums back to light

With the stupendous success of the Slumdog Millionaire, slums are the most sought after subject these days. Ameer's upcoming Tamil movie Yogi talks about a slum-dweller and brings back the life in the slums, but from a different angle. Yogi features a poor slum-dweller who is but endowed with intelligence. He uses his insight and intelligence to understand his day to day affairs and tackle the issues which crop up as well.

Directed by Subramaniam Siva, the movie has Madhumita playing the lead heroine role opposite Ameer in this movie. Subramaniam Siva had earlier directed the Dhanush starrer Thiruda Thirudi and Yogi is truly going to be a new experience touching new realms of life.
