ARRI arrives in Chennai!

It is really a big dream for every producer to complete their films with in the stipulated time. Unfortunately it is rarely happens in the tinsel town just because of the 'Laws of Unexpectedness" applicable to every project!

Sometimes the climatic conditions or the lead artist"s call sheet or location fixing or the camera that plays a crucial role and determines the shooting. When the film"s camera gets stuck even with a minor fault, the cameraman is rushed with the same to Mumbai or US without any further options left.
Another important thing is the availability of high end cameras. One can get the 'pucca" hi end model camera only in the US or London. It takes at least two long years to get a camera with new facilities after the same was introduced abroad.

It seems like those days are gone now… Yes... ARRI GB, the pioneer in introducing and upgrading new technologies time to time to the tinsel people, have opened their first ever franchise shop in Asia at Chennai, Anna Saalai.

It will be a great relief to every local cinematographer who suffer with camera faults.
ARRI SHOP?

There is no need for a formal intro to the people of ARRI. As we already stated, they are the pioneers in introducing and updating the film technologies or new cameras or lenses or other accessories time to time.

ARRI SHOP is the first ever franchise based shop of London in the whole Asia. The shop is located in the well known Stereovision building at Anna Saalai. It is really astonishing to see all sorts of equipment for directors, cinematographers, gaffers,make up artists,students etc. "We are planning to stock items required by Art Directors as well." says Anuj Samtani, Director- ARRI SHOP

Many producers have enquired about the D 21 and close to 6 orders are underway.

Veteran producer AVM Saravanan formally launched the showroom on Saturday morning and said: “It is really a pleasure for a producer like me to have such a highly technical show room in Chennai.
Producer SPB Charan of Capital Film Works said, “It"s a precious gift for us as it reduces our production cost enormously."
