Aval Peyar Tamilarasi to go for Dubai Film Fest

Moser Baer Entertainment"s forthcoming film Aval Peyar Tamilarasi has been invited to be premiered at Dubai International Film Festival being held from December 9 to 16. Moser Baer Entertainments COO G Dananjayan informed this to media today by an email.

Written and directed by Meera Kathiravan, Aval Peyar Tamilarasi has Jai, Nandagi, Kanja Karuppu, Rama, Theodre Bhaskaran, Veera Santhanam and others in the cast. Vijay Antony has compased the music for the first time for a Moser Baer venture. Raja Mohamed is the editor for the film and cinematography is by P.G. Muthiah.

Says Moser Baer Entertainments COO, G Dhananjayan: "The selection team, which came to India in September, saw several films, which are under production in various languages and selected few films for screening/premiering during the festival. Our film, which is going through the post-production was seen in the double positive mode by the selective team and they were quite impressed with the quality of the film and agreed to revert soon on the selection. We have now received the formal invite from the organizers and are happy to attach a copy of the invite..."

It is really a great honour for a film under production to be selected for the festival premiere based on the merit and quality of the content. Moser Baer's earlier films like Poo and Raman Thediya Seethai had also won good reviews and awards from various organisations.

The film is scheduled to release in Tamil Nadu after its Dubai premier in December. Dhananjayan also mentioned that Suhasini Mani Ratnam, who is co-ordinating for Tamil films to be a part of the film festivals, played a great role in the selection of Aval Peyar Tamilarasi. He also thanked her on behalf his team for selecting the film for the festival.
