Ayirathil Oruvan to release on Pongal?

Three years after its launch, Selvaraghavan directed Karthik starer Aayirathil Oruvan's release date is still in the dark. But the film's producer Raveendran issued a press statement yesterday saying that the film was started as a Rs 7 crore project, then it became Rs 12 crore and finally at the time of release it will touch Rs 31 Crore.

According to him the graphic work of the film is going on at the moment. Though Ravindiran confirms that the film will be hits for coming Pongal, the final work of the film is still pending and the director has left the film and busy with his yet to be titled project with Vikram in Ladak Valley. However the trade is skeptical about it as they say no area of the film has been sold so far!
