Vijaya - Vauhini launches Enga Veetu Pillai!

Vijaya Vauhini, a busy production house of South India once upon a time, has launched their new venture Enga Veettu Pillai in their 60th year in the Industry.

Actually B.Nagi Reddy the founder of Vijaya Vauhini had made Enga Veetu Pillai in 1965 with the legendary MGR. Now the production house has used the same title but a different story for their new film.

Apart from Bharath, the film has Prabhu, Vivek, Sampath Raj, Livingston, Pragathi and Aarthy. Two newcomers will also feature in the film. The film is written and directed by Badri who had earlier made two films with Sundar.C ,Veerappu and Aindham Padai.

The story is about two close friends, who due to a selfish and greedy man's plot, gets estrangeds and vie for each other's blood. One of the friend's son, the hero, takes efforts to get them united. This forms the crux of the movie which is narrated with comedy, suspense and drama.

Shooting begins in Chennai and would be shot in Hyderabad, Kodaikanal, Malaysia and Singapore.

Parijatham fame Dharan has scored the music for the film.
