56th Filmfare awards in Hyderabad

The 56th edition of Annual Filmfare awards for South will be held on the 31st July in Hyderabad for the films released in the year 2008.

Filmfare awards are considered as one of the prestigious cinema awards as a recognition for cinema in the country.

The Southern version of the awards are given for films released in Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada in many categories annually, held in any one of the Southern Cities.

This year the award committee has selected Hyderabad as the venue for the ceremony. This year Idea Cellular Mobile is going to sponsor the event along with Filmfare magazine.

Many top artists in the region including Kamal Hassan are expected to participate in the event.
