Jab We Met to be Kandein Kadhalai

The remake of the Bollywood super hit flick Jab We Met was earlier titled 'Raja Rani" but now the title of the film has been changed to Kandein Kadhalai. While in the Hindi flick Kareena Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor were paired, in the Tamil version gorgeous Tamanna and Bharath have been cast in the lead roles.

Jeyam Kondan"s famed director Kannan would be doning the director"s cap. Earlier, Dhanush and Trisha were supposed to pair up for the lead roles while Karu Pazhaniappan was to take on direction but the team was changed. It"s been said that Pritam who composed melodious tunes for the original version would be composing the song for the remake version too.

Though the remake has the similar storyline, the Tamil version has been changed to suit the tastes of the local audiences. The movies have more than just the common story line. Some of the promo stills also bear uncanny similarities. The film is scheduled to hit the floors on 11th of March.
