Jessica Alba out of Venkat's Goa

By By: Settu Shankar

Venkat Prabhu, who had earlier announced that he was likely to have Hollywood actress Jessica Alba play the character of a British tourist in Goa, his next film, had to face disappointment. According to the sources, the actress had asked for a salary of around three million US Dollars (approximately Rs 14 crore), when the entire budget of this film is said to be around just Rs six crore!

But the director is still on the lookout for a white woman to be cast in the film. Also, the director has reportedly decided to cast Sneha as one of the heroines in the film, which will be produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth's Ocher Studios along with Warner Brothers.

Goa features Jai, Siva, Vaibhav and Premji in the lead, with Yuvan Shankar Raja likely to compose music.
