K Balachander back with a bang

There"s good news for the fans of director K Balachander. A new mega serial titled Sollathan Ninaikirein, has been penned by the veteran film maker.

According to sources in the industry, the serial focuses on the father-daughter relationship.

Ravi Raghavender plays the role of the dad while Kavya, who acted in Sahana, another popular serial of K Balachander, plays the role of the daughter in this serial.

Sollathan Ninaikirein, which has been directed by Bombay Chanakya, has dialogues by Thavamani Vaseegaran and music by Ganesh.

Other artistes who are expected to play important roles in the serial include Fathima Babu, Yuvarani of Chithi fame, Devadarshini, Sureshwar, Rajmadhan, Ravikanth and Vizhuthugal Santhanam.

The serial, which is being produced by Pushpa Kandasamy, will be telecast from Monday to Thursday at 7 pm.
