Kamal wants to remake Salangai Oli

At his age of 55, Kamal Hassan, the legendary actor from Tamil Cinema wants to do a role of 25 year old! The actor who completed 50 years in cinema, said in a recent interview at Hyderabad that it was his desire to act in the remake of his super hit film Salangai Oli. Remember he did the role of 25 years old classical dancer in the film.

Made in Telugu and later in Tamil Sagara Sangamam (original version title), the movie directed by K. Viswananth and starring Jayapradha was a blockbuster. Maestro Ilayaraja composed extra ordinary music for this film and made it as an epic. He got his first National Award for this film.

Talking about the film, Kamal said that if any director wished to remake the film, he was ready to play the same role once again. "May be I'm 55 now, but still ready to do the same role as 25 year old if they made it again. For me art is ageless..." says the actor.
