Kanninum Kannadikkum in Tamil

Kanninum Kannadikkum (Malayalam) directed by Sundardas and released in 2004 is being dubbed in Tamil. Prabhu and Sukanya have cameo roles in this film, playing actors. The film is being dubbed into Tamil not only because of Tamil actors Prabhu and Sukanya"s roles, but also for its good story told in a beautiful manner. But what is the story?

A film director desperately seeks a good plot to to give a hit film, and stumbles upon the interesting past of a truck driver (Kalabhavan Mani) . Understanding that this true story has the spark needed to make a good film, the director investigates the story and finds the truck driver"s secret – he is living in self-imposed exile after having murdered a wicked man who had wrecked his life. Making further investigations, he finds that the wicked man is still alive and makes a film based on this story. When the truck driver watches this movie, he realizes that he had been living with the wrong assumption that he had killed the man who destroyed his happy life. So, he returns to his village to complete the unfinished business!

With its good storyline and neat screenplay, the film – which did good business in Kerala – should have a good run in Tamil Nadu too.
