Kollywood in disorder; panic over swine flu

By Super Admin

The entire K-town is thrown into complete disorder with panic rising on swine flu. The epidemic disease has really caused more havoc in Kollywood as most of the filming schedules have been called-off. Producers of Asal starring Ajith Kumar, Sameera Reddy and Bhavana in lead roles had planned to shoot the film across exotic locations of Turkey, Ireland, Italy, Netherlands, and Hungary etc.

Unluckily, director Saran cancelled shooting over those locations fearing for H1N1 flu. At present, the film has been completely shot in Malaysia, as it is considered to be the safest place.

Much similarly, shooting for other South Indian films, slated to be held in foreign locations have been struck down. Instead, producers have started looking out for local areas for filming those portions, which were supposed to be canned abroad. Likewise earlier, plans were made to shoot Trisha-Gopichand starrer Sankam in South America. But due to high-alerts on swine flue, the crew has shifted to Australia.
