Lekha Washington to rock Bollywood

Lekha Washington, the former Chennai based television anchor who had done Tamil films like Jayam Kondan has entered Bollywood.

Already a bunch of actresses from South including Asin, Genelia and Sada are ruling the Bollywood and now Lekha is joining the bunch.

She is playing the lead role opposite Rajeev Khandelwal, in Peter Gaya Kaam Se, produced by UTV's 'Spotboy' productions. The film is directed by John Owens, who is a British filmmaker based in India.

For this assignment, the actress is planning to undergo a short term training to learn martial arts and other stunts.

The shoot for Peter Gaya Kaam Se starts in Goa from March first week.
