Maddy files complaint against his producer

Madhavan has filed a complaint against Gaurav Sharma, the producer of Avan Aval Adhu (earlier titled as Leelai) for non payment of Rs.60 lakhs salary as promised by the later in the agreement.

According to Maddy's petition filed in the powerful producer's council, he was promised a salary of Rs 75 lakhs but was given a paltry advance of Rs 15 lakhs by Gaurav Sharma. With 15 days of work to be completed, the producer asked the actor to decrease his salary but Maddy wasn't willing.

Sharma went ahead and released the audio of the film that features Sada, Shamita Shetty. The movie is directed by Kona Venkat, a former assistant of Ram Gopal Varma. The film, which was earlier titled Leelai, is a remake of the Ram Gopal Varma-produced film Darling.

Post the audio launch, Madhavan has demanded a stay on the release of the film. Now the producer too has approached the council, which is trying to work out an amicable settlement.
