Mamta roped in to play Ajith's heroine

The shooting of the film Asal has been delayed just because of the delay in finalising the heroine of the film.

Now according to the sources, glam girl Mamta Mohandas has signed up to play Ajith"s heroine in Asal. The actress confirmed in her recent interview that she would play the lead role opposite Ajith and the announcement would be expected any time.

Remember, Sivaji Films has already paid advance to Bollywood actress Sameera Reddy, who made her remarkable debut in Vaaranam Aayiram. But it is not clear where Sameera Reddy stands in the film.

The film"s shoot is likely to start in Italy with the picturisation of a song on the lead pair written by Vairamuthu and composed by Bhardwaj.
