Bhuvaneswari,
a
popular
cine
and
TV
actress
was
arrested
last
week
for
running
a
brothel
and
prostitution
business
in
her
residence.
In
a
follow
up
news,
a
Tamil
daily
has
published
a
detailed
report
on
Sunday
(Oct
4)
based
on
her
confessions
and
naming
a
few
Kollywood
actresses
who
are
also
trading
in
sex.
The
daily
also
published
the
photographs
of
those
actresses
involving
in
brothel.
This
report
created
a
storm
in
Kollywood,
though
the
daily
published"regret" on
Monday
issue.
The
Nadigar
Sangam
chief
Sarath
Kumar
took
objection
to
the
newspaper
report
and
approached
the
Chennai
city
police
commissioner
T
Rajendran
to
complain
against
the
daily.
On
Wednesday,
a
big
meeting
is
being
arranged
by
Nadigar
Sangam
to
chalk
out
future
plans
including
filing
defamatory
case
against
the
daily
and
also
filing
a
complaint
against
the
daily
with
the
Press
Council
of
India.
Says
Sarath
Kumar:
"The
meeting
on
Wednesday
will
decide
our
future
course
of
action.
It
is
not
right
on
the
part
of
the
daily
to
seek
apology
after
publishing
such
objectionable
material.
The
report
has
affected
families
of
several
artistes."
Meanwhile,
the
Nadigar
Sangam
chief
Sarath
Kumar
and
his
aid
Radharavi
have
announced
a
ban
on
the
Daily
from
covering
film
events
and
giving
film
contents.
But
it
is
not
in
a
written
format,
but
just
orally
announced
to
the
concerned
reporters!
