Nikil Murugan, the leading PRO in the Tamil film Industry has been adjudged as the best communication man by the popular media house, India Today.

Nikil, as he is called by his close circles, is the Public Relations man for Rajinikanth and Kamal Hassan. He has also been the media manager for Kamal Hassan for many years. He is the man behind the vast coverages of Tamil films across the globe. Nikhil was instrumental in getting an online interview of A R Rahman for BBC and Times recently.

Nikil has played a prominent role in promoting Kamal Hassan"s films globally. Associated with leading directors Mani Ratnam, Shankar, Bala, Sasikumar, Bharati Raja, Oscar winning Music composer A R Rahman, actors Karthi and Surya.

He is a media friendly man and always very helpful to the reporters. whenever they want to contact the stars. He has been the bridge between the media and the artistes for years. He is such an energetic person and he is personally in touch with the media whether it is print or electronic. At least 300 media people attend the press meet arranged by him.

He has the capacity to bring the media people from the North as well as foreign countries who are not normally interested in Southern news.
