Pammal K Samantham is Kambakkht Ishq

Kamal Hassan's Tamil hit film Pammal K Samantham is now being remade in Hindi. Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor are playing the lead roles in the Hindi version.

Released in 2002, Pammal K Samantham was produced by PL Thenappan and directed by Mouli. Kamal played a typical Chennai stuntman and Simran played the role of a doctor in the movie.

Unlike the Tamil film, Akshay Kumar plays a stuntman in Hollywood! Sylvester Stallone and Brandon Routh will be appearing in cameos, reportedly playing themselves.

Kambakkht Ishq is the title for this Hindi remake and Aftab and Amrita does the roles done by Abbas and Sneha.
