Karunanidhi watches Pazhassi Raja

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi watched the special show of Pazhassi Raja, the Tamil version of recently released Malayalam blockbuster. Starring Mammootty and Sarath Kumar in the lead roles, Pazhassi Raja portrays the first freedom struggle of the country.

Producer Gokulam Gopalan arranged a special screening at the Four Frames preview Theater for the Chief Minister and the CM is said to have loved the film. The film directed by Hariharan and features Mammootty, Sarath Kumar, Manoj K Jayan, Suman, Kanika and Padmapriya.

Sarath Kumar who was present on the occasion gifted a shawl to the CM. In fact Kalingar was all praise for the way the film was conceptualized by Hariharan and for the outstanding performance of Mammootty and Sarath. Gokulam Praveen the executive producer of the film confirmed that the movie will release in Tamil Nadu on November 13.
