Peranmai goes to Hollywood

SP Jananatha's Peranmai is going to rock Hollywood soon. Yes.. the producers of the film, Ayngaran International, has given the green signal to SP Jahanathan who directed their Diwali smash hit Peranmai, to make a crisp English version of the film.

This Jayam Ravi starrer based on a tribal officer in Indian forests fighting foreign mercenaries, who has come to destabilize the country"s progress in scientific field is ideal for the overseas audiences.

Jahanathan will be cutting the 150 minute film to 90 minutes by deleting large parts of the talkie portion, songs and comedy scenes. Meanwhile, the director is getting ready to go for the shoot of his yet to be titled film.
