Rahul Dev is Rajinikanth's villain

The role of the villain in a Rajinikanth film is of prime importance.

The superstar always tells his directors that unless the villain has equal footing and importance, the film will not go well with the audiences.

Now, Rahul Dev, the model-turned-villain,will play the bad man in Rajinikanth"s animated Sultan — The Warrior, which is being produced and directed by his daughter Soundarya.

Says Rahul, who has also acted in Chandramukhi, "It is a pleasure to play the villain opposite the living legend of Indian cinema. He is truly an icon and I have to thank Soundarya for offering me the role of the villain in her movie. Probably for the first time ever, an animated film is being made on an Indian actor and I"m honoured to be part of it."
