Sandhya hits back at her director

A couple of days ago, the director of yet to be released flick Manjal Veyyil announced that her heroine Sandhya has done a lip lock scene in the film because of the requirement of the story. Now, Sandhya has denied that lip lock scene and owed that she never accepts films even if the filmmakers compel her to do such scenes.

Reacting to the statement of the director, Sandhya said, "Only after I was confirmed that the film Manjal Veyyil is a clean love story, I signed the project. I play a cute college girl in the film. But I was shocked when I read that I am doing a kissing scene with my hero. I think it is a publicity gimmick used by the director to market his film."

"I don't like to do such scenes at any stage in my career. In fact, recently, I opted out of a film for the simple reason that the script demanded a kissing scene...", she added.
