Sangeetha in Naan Avan Illai sequel

Producer Hithesh Jhabak and director Selva have join hands again for a new venture. That too to make a sequel to their Naan Avan Illai, probably the most successful film of yesteryear.

The Selva-directed film was a remake of K Balachander's classic film under the same name.

The new version has the con man hero on the run in Europe. According to the latest reports, actress Sangeetha has been signed for the film.

It"ll be her first film after her marriage with singer Krish.

The actress says, "Yes, I"m doing the sequel to Naan Avan Illai. I liked the way the script was narrated by director Selva and I'm sure about its success. I'm also doing a Telugu film now. I used to act in family oriented roles even before my marriage and it will continue. Krish has not barred me from acting and in fact, he is also getting offers but is waiting for a good script."
