Selvaraghavan going steady with Andrea

Ace director Selvaraghavan, after applying for divorce with actress wife Sonia Agarwal, is starting his new film with his favourite heroine Andrea (who is said to be the reason for the rift between Selva and Sonia) and brother Dhanush.

Titled as Ithu Maalai Nerathu Mayakkam, he was to start the film with Karthi and Sandhya in the lead in 2006 for his production house, a joint venture with his then cameraman Aravind Krishna and music director Yuvan Shankar Raja.

But the project didn't take off at that time, as Selva and Karthi got involved with Aayirathil Oruvan. His partners Yuvan and Arvind Krishna also parted ways with Selva and his film production company White Elephant also got dissolved without producing any film. Few months back Selva revived the project with Dhanush and Andrea.

The film will be produced under a new banner launched by Selvaraghavan and the shoot will start on August 20 in Hyderabad. According to Selvaraghavan, the film is an intense romantic story about the generation next and will be released as a Valentines day 2010 special!
