Simran flees to Mumbai to evade disgrace

With failures one after the other seeking her in a row, actress Simran has been forced to return to Mumbai. She had planned to get a successful second innings but both Sheval and Heartbeat failed miserably at the box office.

Vaaranam Aayiram with Surya was the only saving grace during her second homecoming. The yesteryears sizzling queen could not digest the failure, let alone sit at home waiting for offers, which sparingly came her way. Therefore Simran decided to go back to her home in Mumbai and settle there instead of sitting idle in Chennai. However she has said that if good offers come her way, she is willing to come down to Chennai and act and then return.
