Sona turns into an entrepreneur

Sona, the glam girl who rocking the industry and the hearts of Tamil viewers in films like Mirugam, Sivappathikaram and Kuselan, is all set to step into the Chennai fashion industry. She is opening a fashion boutique 'Uniq'. As the name suggests, the store will be one-of-its-kind. Sona has planned to showcase fashion accessories like jewellery, shoes and watches imported from Singapore and other countries.

The price for these accessories will range from Rs 1000 and Rs 1,00,000. "I have always had a passion for fashion and after becoming an actress, that passion has become only stronger," she says. Sona is also planning to open branches in Mumbai and Bangalore and she adds that every three months, there will be new features introduced in the boutique. Uniq at Teynampet will be inaugurated on January 9 by actress Shilpa Shetty.
